iBreadCrumbs Officially Launches!!
June 5th, 2008By: Rey Marques
So we finally made it, as you can see from our press release here: Cal State Fullerton Graduates Team Up to Launch Free Online Tool to Help Students, Researchers, Teachers Gather and Share Research
From the release:
iBreadCrumbs.com gives students, researchers and teachers a free and easy way to collaborate and share research completed online in a social network environment. Users simply download the free iBreadCrumbs toolbar, search the Internet as usual and click on the webpages visited to share with others. Users can also add notes and references to every page visited and save the web history for colleagues to see the sites and review the content they viewed — saving time and reducing redundancy in gathering research.
"iBreadCrumbs.com is a simple, yet powerful, application in the college and research environment," said Rey Marques, co-founder of iBreadCrumbs.com. "In essence, we have created a social network for researchers to share URLs recorded, track websites, review notes online - encouraging collaboration as a key component to learning."
We've already been picked up by numerous blogs and even Campus Technology in this article!
It's very exciting for us and we are going to be working extra hours to improve the site, add new features and better compatibility, and create a thorough help section. Stayed tuned.
